Key features of project

  • The area will benefit from the Pakenham Bypass construction (expected completion 2007) and East-link arterial road project (expected completion 2008) which will connect Melbourne's south-eastern and eastern suburbs directly to the city.
  • Over the next 15 years, the Casey-Cardinia Growth Area is expected to supply around 54,000 dwellings or almost 15 per cent of Melbourne's total growth requirements.
  • With the bolt-on acquisition BLP will be a major supplier of residential land to the area, especially as competing detached land projects will be close to sold out as BLP's selling phase commences in late 2008.
